I like post-punk and noise rock the best, but I'll listen to any high-energy rock (as long as there's no screaming). No screaming! You're missing out how about a mix of clean vocals and semi-screaming? I guess that could work.

For me, music is storytelling. One of the best genres for this in particular, is film music. When it's right... it gives me chills.

Lately it's been mostly metal with a little bit of newer stuff from Green Day, Blink 182 and Sum 41.
For metal bands I've been digging lately and listening to repeatedly, The Black Dahlia Murder, Kalmah, Chiddos, Dragonforce and The Devil Wears Prada.
Honorable mentions to alternative rock that I throw on lately if I'm in the mood for it are Mother Mother, Marcy's Playground, and Naked And Famous just to name a few.

I've always favoured Rock, but that extends to rock pop and pop itself as well. I also like Electro Pop, and generally most genres.
It would be easier to list the ones I'm not fond of/into:
Screamo, rave, acid, techno, trance, possibly death metal; all those types generally.

I love that we are getting new **** from blink and sum. I'm going to see Sum 41 at their summer tour and again at Louder Than Life this September, can't wait...they put on a hell of a show. I was supposed to see TBDM at Blue Ridge Rock Fest in 2023 but that festival was a nightmare...saw them in 2008 in Philly when they opened for Children of Bodom, RIP Trevor and RIP Alexei.

Anyone ever get into a classical music mood? Yep. Sometimes it is when i hear a piece i love in a film or tv programme and i will seek it out on youtube or spotify, and then find myself going from one to another through a few hours. I also love listening to 7 days walking by Ludovico Einaudi when i am out walking.

What do you think of Sum 41s new album Heaven x Hell? I gave it a solid listen quite a few times now. It is a bitter sweet album for me growing up in my teens listening to Sum 41 constantly listening to their entire discography as the years went on, and knowing now that this is their last album before they disband. Overall for me, there is not a single track on the album that is skip-able. Landmines being one of my all time favorite Sum 41 songs up there with Fat Lip, Pieces, Dopamine, Underclass Hero and Out For Blood.
