Then again, almost everyone associates the 'optimist or pessimist' with the glass being half empty or half full.
The saying usually goes 'is the glass half empty or half full', and if ure asking for the first thought that comes into a person's mind, then its probably going to be half empty, since that comes first in the phrase...
