Personal Smilies (v 1.3.0)

Hello,

I have that plug in but nothing changed. Have I to upload my own smileys (from the internet?) and how? I don't see such possibility in "settings"

I get only the standard (20, I believe) smileys. I'm going to uninstall...

url smilies go in the box.

The box that @joecool111 is speaking of should be in your profile, if you go to edit your profile and click on the 'Settings' tab, you should have a new option right at the bottom where you can add the URL's of your personal smilies.

Adding an URL of a smiley doesn't change anything in profile>settings

After you have finished adding the URLs of the images in your profile page, click the 'Set Changes' button to save them. Then, when you are on the posting page and try to use a smiley all of your personal smilies should now be listed below ProBoards standard ones.

Yes. It reproduces the url  in the posting page, but not the smiley as such

That's something already. A glimpse of hope.


And now I have it! It worked!

And my normal smilies appear as code, but not as smilies


PLease: How can I get the smilies back in my  Admin account?

In my other accounts, all five added smilies  work! But I cannot upload more than five.

For your admin account, try deleting the Personal Smilies and start again.

As for your other accounts, you can only add 5 URLs at a time.. Simply save the ones you have added then you'll be able to add another 5 etc.

You can store as many as the key will hold.. Depending on the URL length, you should be good for at least a couple of hundred smilies.

Hope it works out at a given moment of time
