Lynx, Nope, it will overwrite the one sitting their waiting to be reviewed. Peter, When I go to export it, though, all I get is Add a New Plugin. That last export came back with an item# - 1048 (though checking, it's not there). Will I get a new item#? This is my first time with this, so I don't want 2 copies of the same thing (this one, of course, having the bugs fixed). Thanks for the reply! Edit: How long does it usually take (estimated / average) to get a response either way? Doesn't really matter, just curious. Edit #2: Exported 1.0.1 to library. Gave me a new Item # though.

You'll only be able to update an existing plugin if one has been accepted to the database as it checks all the library entries associated with your global account.

Not sure who goes through the plugins to see if they're accepted or not, but they can trash the one associated with Item #1048. The bug-fixed version (Item #1050) is the current one. Sorry for that.

Plugin is almost done. I've just got one other issue to resolve and I can see about submitting it. Issue: When first going to the page, the marquee lines show up as they should, but once the page fully loads, lines 2 and 3 don't show anymore (I've got 3 Text Lines entered in for testing). Any advice on that issue would be greatly appreciated. My guess is it's somewhere in the JS. (Note: It's currently active on my Birds At Night forum (link in sig). Peter - if you have time, or are able, it's the Forum Marquee plugin. I've pretty much scrapped my other attempts (although I haven't deleted them yet.)) Brian - Once submitted, what's next? Is there a link that shows the steps during plugin submission? Thanks! Also here: function start() { new mq('m1'); new mq('m2') mqRotate(mqr); // must come last } new mq('m2') is throwing an error that keeps your marquee from starting automatically when you load the page. (Because you currently do not have a second marquee) aka m2

Thank you for the reply. P̌̓aͧś̀t̀u͒le͆o͂2̀3̃̓. Does that have to be removed to be accepted? The non auto-start (to me) is kind of nice as it allows someone to read what's there before getting it scrolling. I can remove it though, it it needs to be removed to be accepted.

No it does not need to be removed to be accepted. However coding-wise, a select few downloaders have a problem with it. If it works for you, don't worry about it. Maybe when you understand more about coding, you can go back and find a better solution to the problem.

Not sure how long this process takes, but it's been 2 days and no word either way. I can only guess that maybe it got rejected, so back to the drawing board for me. I'll find (hopefully) something that will be worthy enough to be accepted. Definitely not giving up.

Lynx, Give it time, they can get busy. The weekend is coming up, you may need to wait until next week now. If your plugin gets rejected, you will get an email.

Thank you for that information, ?adwoman?. I thought that doing that wasn't allowed until it got approved. Mine's a new plugin, not an update.

Thank you for that information, ?adwoman?. I thought that doing that wasn't allowed until it got approved. Mine's a new plugin, not an update. I attach my plugin to the main post far before I submit my plugin. Kind of a trial run. The only reason they reject a plugin is by violating the terms of service. Which is hard to do, unless you are setting keys or moving ads. I click the add attachment button and attach the exported pbp file for all my plugins.

To: Anyone that can answer this: Am I allowed to start a support thread in the Plugin Library with the pbp file as an attachment while I'm waiting on the official word as to the plugin's status (accepted / rejected)? I just want to make sure I'm not breaking any rules. Thanks!
