Instead of locking threads you don't like, can you just delete them altogether. I am annoyed that I cant reply to some of them.

They don't delete threads here.
They're locked or if they have innapropriate content (such as bad pictures) they will be moved to another board that the average member doesn't have access to.

You can easily tell if a thread is locked... Just look for the little padlock icon...

They lock them as an example, so newer members realize what is and isn't allowed.  |

So you mean staff members move the bad pictures out of the members sight, but they can still view them? Mhm.  |
