My dad's from England and my mum's german, but I grew up in Germany and go to uni in England now. I am in Germany at the moment, though. And watching the Euro 2008. ;D Welcome to the site. I'm sure you'll enjoy it here. And yeah, this would be a great place to improve your english. I really don't think people will mind if your english isn't too great. I've seen native speakers with abysmal english skills.
