Hi, there. I'm new, obviously.

I got a "Come and join us!" email this morning, and wouldn't have if I hadn't realized it was for writers/FF authors. To be honest, I've never heard of this site before, and I have no idea how anyone here got my email address... but oh, well.

I'll make a quick intro before I go. I'm Samantha, and I'm 16, a sophomore. I plan on being an author someday; in fact, I'm already writing something about two girls falling in love (by the way, I'm gay... not sure why I thought I should say that, but there), and another about two demon brothers, a story which has been inspired by anime, role-playing, and FullMetal Alchemist (sort of).

Random fact: I love music~

Well, here's my newbie post!! Gotta go now. Maybe I'll put up my FMA story later, and the South of Nowhere fic prologue, if there's anything for SON here...

I'm sure you'll like it here though. You can find some great writer's forums in the advertising board, since a lot of people here write/roleplay as a hobby.

Welcome to PBS, Samantha!! That email does sound weird.. I once got a strange email from a member here on PBS who'd randomly found me and felt like harassing me. Strange things happen on the internet sometimes, lol.

I hope you do great things with your dream of being a writer!! I just watched my boyfriend's mother (who's also gay) finish her second book - what a headache!! The editing process blows, I'd hate for someone to tell me what I'd written was junk and they wanted to take it out Guess that's why I stick to roleplaying, lol.

Getting my stories edited scares me. ^^; But what I'm afraid of most is getting bad reviews. .___. -ish a very sensitive person, unfortunately- Though I've gotten nothing but good reviews on FF.net, there's always a possibility of someone like Simon Cowells coming along and shooting down your work.
