Hi, On our forum there is currently an issue with our admin. She was gone for awhile and when she returned to find that other people had stepped up and nobody really "listened" to what she had to say, she found it necessary to use her powers and just overthrow our group decisions. A lot of us want to quit. Is there anyway to overthrow an admin? lol. Sounds weird, I know...but yeah. I just need help, it's horrible. Any advice would be appreciated. Hi, No there is not any way to overthrow a admin that I know of. I would suggest starting your own proboards if you don't agree with the admin's decisions. You and your group can get all of your post from the site your currently on and move them to the new site.

So we can delete everything we've ever written on there? B/c I've seriously worked my butt off for the past year and a half, along with the 10 others who want to leave as well. It's just awful. Is there anyway the admin can step down and appoint somebody else? Thanks for your help though!

The head admin can change someones staff rank to head admin, then step down and let the newly appointed person take over. You don't necessarily have to delete all of your post, unless you just want to. you can copy and paste them to a new forum. Though copying and pasting might take a while.

You don't necessarily have to delete all of your post, unless you just want to. you can copy and paste them to a new forum. Though copying and pasting might take a while. If the main admin is stepping down, they could just give you their login details (password), then you can use the admin account for the things only the admin can do, but stay in your own account for regular posting. The best way if the admin is leaving is to make your own board, and get the members to follow. support.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=support&action=display&thread=30155&page=3#2196741
