Hey everyone,
My names Sophie and I am fifteen years old living in the UK at the moment. I have had a couple of sites with proboards, and i must say i addicted to this roleplaying stuff. Especially seen as i love making stuff up and writing so these sorts of things are ideal for me.

One of my most sucessful sites is the one that i am currently most active on, which based on the book, The Host by Stephenie Meyer. It has been running since October and I cannot wait to celebrate being open for a WHOLE year. lol.
We have about 372 members which i am very pleased about. lol. There is one question i want to ask though, whats all this bumping thing about? I don't really get it. lol.

Hello! I love RP, too. It has definitely fueled my passion for writing. You're doing really well with that many members and being open for a year. I hope your site continues to grow!

Bumping is a way of getting an old thread back to the top of a board. So if nobody has replied to yours and it has disappeared from the front page, few people will go to the second or third page, meaning that it's likely to just disappear. If you bump it (according to the rules of the board you're in; don't bump too early) then it will go to the top, giving it another chance to be seen.

Edited to add: Take out the asterisk (*) in your signature so that the image will display properly.

Edited again to add: Oh, and your signature image will be too big. Refer to section three in the rules here for an explanation of why, and how big it can be. It stretches the screen for some people, which is uber-annoying.

I've modified your post, as this board is merely for indroducing yourself....not to solicit people to join your board. As you know, there's an advertising board. Also, as aware, you are allowed to post a link to your board or boards, in your signature and you have indeed done so.

I was going to say as you edited that, as mods will do that keep people from having larger sigs that don't fix them so it doesn't stretch the page. They put the star there, not the user.
