Say you block me completely, you won't see my replies in threads unless someone quotes me.
You will see my name in the topics list if I create a topic, but when you open my thread, the first thing you'll see is the first reply rather than my post. If anyone quotes me, you'll see my post.

I think the blocking feature on ProBoards could be better, but it may be harder to do on a forum than it is to do on another social media app or platform. I'm not sure.

dragonfli - When you set up the block the first option is to "hide this member's posts" - so you do not have to see their posts. You can block new PM conversations so they cannot interact with you. You can block notifications from them - like if they tag you, you will not be notified. Blocking a member is more about removing that member from your forum experience - as if they were not a member on the forum.

And I still see them if someone quotes them. That's bad. At least censor out the quote.
